Young artist Ryan Melgar is living in the Philippines since 23 years. He draws, paints, and sometimes takes photos. He was noticed for his illustration of Dev Hynes AKA Blood Orange for WIRED or the portrait of Christine Lagarde for Bloomberg Markets Magazine. In a series called “Sailors”, Ryan Melgar draws girl power that includes the popular Japanese anime, Sailor Moon, and some influential female musicians admired for their powerful persona.
